The device uses a high-resolution WVGA touch screen, an ARM Cortex-A8 processor and 1GB of application memory. Under the screen is a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It is expected to be available in certain markets during October.

It's unclear what other devices Nokia will be highlighting at the event, to which it has invited media from around the world.
