Riverbed opens shop in ANZ

WAN specialist Riverbed Technology has announced the expansion of its subsidiary in Australia, with the establishment of opeartions in Australia and New zealand and the appointment of a regional director.

Earlier this month, Riverbed also announced the setting up of operations in India. With the ANZ expansion, Riverbed has now established a presence in Asia Pacific with regional headquarters in Singapore and operations in Australia, India, China, and Korea.

Riverbed has announced the appointment of Steve Dixon as regional director for Australia and New Zealand. Dixon has twenty-two years of experience in the IT industry.  Prior to joining Riverbed, he spent five years as sales director and later managing director of Cabletron Systems.
