Wilkinson said the company, which was achieving
efficiencies of up to 25 percent in its overall IT budget, would
centralise its human resources, finance and customer-resource
management applications, with Verizon providing a “resilient, reliable
and secure global network over which these applications can be
delivered to IBA Health’s global employees.”
According to Verizon Business VP for Australia and New Zealand, Ron
Gauci, health care customers – from providers to patients – have some
of the most exacting demands in the world in terms of information
availability and security, and increasingly, “success in this space is
enhanced by technology.”
