Tadiran’s VP Sales and Marketing, Zeev Avi, said today Mike Montgomery, a veteran of Australia’s telecom industry, had been appointed country manager for Australia to lead the drive to expand the company’s presence and the realisation of its strategic commitment to the Australian market with new partners and solutions.
“There is already an impressive installed customer base that enjoys the flexibility of the reliability and flexibility of these communication solutions.”
Montgomery will oversee the anticipated launch, in Australia, of the Coral Sea Softswitch, a multi-layered communication solution that Tadiran says offers seamless convergence ideal for Australia's telecom environment.
Aviv said Montgomery’s experience, strong business management, marketing and sales capabilities alongside a sound technical understanding across the full spectrum of the industry, “will be highly valuable to Tadiran Telecom as we look to develop new partnerships in Australia."
He also said that the company had been an established innovator in telecommunications for more than 40 years, and had initiated an organisational plan to increase environmental awareness in the telecom market while utilising "green technology" in its products.
