Enterprise software has a reputation for requiring expensive consulting services to get it working the way you want. But TechnologyOne has come up with a way of delivering such assistance more affordably.
TechnologyOne offers an integrated suite of enterprise software, along with implementation and support services. But rather than requiring customers to bring in consultants by the day (paying for travelling time along the way), the company's new Virtual Consultant service delivers remote consultancy in blocks of time as small as 15 minutes.
A combination of phone and remote desktop links allows the client and consultant to speak and share a screen as if they were in the same room. Services include advice and assistance concerning configuration, report creation and modification, and training.
Virtual Consultants are initially available for TechnologyOne's Financials, Human Resource & Payroll, Supply Chain, and Property & Rating software.
"Our consultants identified our customers' need for this service, so we set about to develop an efficient, accessible service that would continue to meet and exceed out customers' expectations," said Adrian Di Marco, executive chairman of TechnologyOne.
"Our deeply integrated solution suite is now supported by an additional service and our customers are already receiving the benefits of our commitment to improved user experience."
