BT Global Services has merged three of its business units into one unit dedicated to the global financial service industry.
It has combined BT Radianz, a global provider of financial services connectivity, with BT Trading Systems and BT Global Financial Solutions into BT Global Financial Services, "a single market-facing vertical designed to be best of breed in the financial services industry". Howard Edelstein, currently president & CEO of BT Radianz, has been appointed to head a new business unit as its president & CEO.
BT Trading Systems is one of the world's largest suppliers of financial trading room systems with more than 60,000 users in over 1,400 trading rooms across 51 countries. BT Global Financial Solutions provides multimillion dollar IT outsourcing services to nearly 50 financial institutions worldwide. The BT Radianz network connects more than 10,000 financial sites around the world and provides access to more than 170 pre-trade, trade, and post-trade applications from a range of content and service providers .
