One claim made by Ballmer is hard to understand. He asserted the proposed ascquisition "enhances choice for content creators, advertisers, and consumers."

OK, so does this mean Yahoo! Mail and Windows Live Hotmail will both continue and that the enlarged company will create another mail service?

Will Yahoo! Messenger and Windows Live Messenger continue alongside a new IM service?

Taking out one of the major online advertising providers will give me more choice when I want to place ads for my products or services, or if I'm looking for a source of ads to pay for the online content I offer?

'Enhanced choice'? I don't think so.
