Nokia has completed the sale of its professional mobile radio business (which manufactures digital radio systems conforming to the European TETRA standard) to EADS, announced in April. As a result, EADS has formed a new line of business, EADS Secure Networks, and now claims to be "the only company in the world that can offer highly secure, digital radio communication systems and terminals based on the two leading digital radio standards, TETRA and TETRAPOL."
