EA puts game soundtracks on iTunes

Electronic Arts has begun selling soundtrack music from its games via Apple's iTunes Store.

Tracks featured in games such as NBA Live 2007, Madden NFL 2007, FIFA 2006 and Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 are available for the usual $US0.99 each or as albums priced between $US6.93 and $US9.99.

In some cases, the albums are actually iMix playlists of tracks already available from iTunes.

EA also offers games for iPods via the iTunes store, and has expressed interest in producing games for the iPhone.
