Retarus' latest express service hits the tracks

IT Industry - Market

Global messaging technology provider, Retarus, has released a new version of its WebExpress, multi-channel communication platform, that now facilitates users posting messages on social media networks, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Xing.

The Retarus platform already allowed marketing professionals to launch personalised campaigns in minutes, and it now provides social media integration, barcode support for faxes and expanded personalisation capabilities. With this latest release, recipients that receive email communications can now post the message on their favourite interactive community.

Bernhard Hecker, vice president of product management for Retarus observes that the importance of communication within social networks has been rapidly increasing over the past few years, and says that a recent survey by tekegroup 'indicates 84% of social media users rely on this medium to obtain information.'

Hecker said that marketers who utilise WebExpress for faxing can now take advantage of both the traditional personalisation fields, as well as the new barcode feature. 'Using barcodes allows for any fax received back into your company to be easily identified, which provides efficient processing of requests. By combining these features with Retarus' inbound fax service, which supports text and barcode recognition, WebExpress becomes an even more powerful service for marketing and business processing.'
