Construction needs cloud flexibility

Australia’s embattled construction sector could benefit from cloud based information systems that can be switched on and off in lockstep with individual projects – with the exception of those organisations based in remote areas like the Kimberleys.

Delivering simple super payments system

IT Industry - Market

Intelligent business systems provider for SMEs, Attaché Software, is now offering payroll users integration with ClickSuper, a new ecommerce solution for processing superannuation contributions, developed by Cuscal.

According to Attaché Software managing director, Mike Rich, ClickSuper removes the manual process of paying employee contributions, 'replacing it with a secure ecommerce system that facilitates the transfer of funds online and matches payment data with the payment itself, reducing reconciliation time and the risk of error.'

Rich said that Attaché users will now be able to create one superannuation payment schedule for all funds and all employees.  In addition, files can be automatically updated to the ClickSuper platform via the Attaché document management solution, and security is ensured via individual login password details to schedule payments.

'Attaché is thrilled to now offer our customers an ecommerce solution designed to simplify their super contribution processes.   Electronic payments can now be linked with electronic data creating a quick and simple process with funds cleared into member accounts more quickly. The ultimate aim is fast, accurate and efficient superannuation payments.'

Rich said that Cuscal's ClickSuper products, incorporating technology patented by Payment Adviser, offer benefit by overcoming the cost associated with manual, single payment processing for employers and payroll service providers by aggregating the supporting data for each entity and linking it to a single EFT payment; reducing the amount of time it takes to process contributions from two - four weeks to less than three days on average, significantly reducing the non-investment period for superannuation fund members; reducing operational costs via the introduction of an electronic system as opposed to manual, cheque-based system; and, improving data collection and integrity, with the ability to include standard forms and/or limitless data fields together with payments, including name, date of birth, tax file number, and email address.

Cuscal general manager, Adrian Lovney, said, the ClickSuper platform links an ecommerce transaction to the underlying data held in Attaché to 'simplify the processing of superannuation payments for payroll administrators.'

'As well as improving the process for employers themselves, benefits flow through to the superannuation fund members, employed by Attaché's SME clients, because funds are cleared into their accounts more regularly and quickly,' Lovney added.

According to Lovney, thousands of ecommerce transactions have already been processed by ClickSuper on behalf of employers and payroll service providers to more than 250 superannuation funds, with the funds accessing the linked contribution schedule as a reconciled PDF, for manual processing, or as machine readable data to facilitate straight through processing.
