Australian online homeware company, EzyLifestyle, which sells products combining technology and design to supposedly 'take the hassle out of preparing and preserving food', is going off-line with the launch of a party plan program to take its technology-driven kitchen products directly into Australian homes.
The Adelaide-based company is currently recruiting demonstrators to explain its range of products to consumers in their own homes.
EzyLifestyle marketing executive, Kyla Schmidt, said today the company was already receiving requests from prospective party hosts to 'explain the ease and convenience of the EzyLifestyle range of products,' which she said had been progressively launched in Australia since the start of the year.
'That interest started even before we began recruiting demonstrators.'
Schmidt says the kitchen products using technology in the company's range include an EzyMeasure digital measuring cup that intelligently weighs common solid and liquid food ingredients in grams, millilitres, ounces, cups, carats or pounds, and displays the volume or mass on a LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) screen; an EzySealer, 'simple, quick and convenient device that creates an airtight and watertight seal in seconds with almost any plastic or foil-type bag'; and a Klin-Tec, a so-called odour-eating mat for fridges and storage areas that apparently reduces smells, bacteria and moisture to ensure your food stays fresher for longer. The device contains Zeolite, a naturally occurring, porous mineral that absorbs a wide range of molecules.
