Web content management system (CMS) software provider, Sitecore, has made it to the final selections for the ISV/Software Solutions category of Microsoft’s Partner of the Year Awards, with the winners to be announced at the Microsoft partner conference on the Gold Coast this Thursday night.
The Microsoft awards recognise Microsoft partners who have excelled at developing and delivering packaged software to customers and Sitecore managing director, Philipp Heltewig, said being recognised as a finalist “is a great honour and demonstrates the company’s commitment to expanding the capability of its software to enable marketers to drive web and email channels further with highly effective web engagement and experience management utilities and tools.”
Designed on Microsoft’s .NET environment, Heltewig said the company’s CMS solution delivers a “compelling and economical solution for capturing, organizing, storing, and producing Web-based content.”
Heltewig said Sitecore is based on a “flexible enterprise architecture that is readily adaptable to many business situations, and provides customers the scalability, performance, flexibility, and integration capabilities they need to manage multiple websites and seamlessly deliver compelling Web experiences,” and he added, Sitecore’s development team has been and continues to collaborate closely with Microsoft’s Windows Azure and SQL Azure technical teams in the development of its cloud computing solution.
Heltewig claimed that Microsoft naming Sitecore as a finalist for the ISV/Software Solutions award “further solidifies our position as the CMS developer of choice in the Australian market.”
