With fierce competition in the broadband market, Internode has initiated a major overhaul of its broadband plans, introducing what it claims is its first truly unlimited quota business ADSL2+ plans with a combination of boosted data quotas and reduced prices.
According to the ISP's product manager, Jim Kellett, Internode has undertaken a 'radical revision' of all its business plans, now offering just three tiers of Business ADSL services - its Business-Extreme and Business-NakedExtreme plans, running at claimed ADSL2+ Annex M speeds as fast as 24 megabits per second (Mb/s), and Business-Fast plans, with high speed ADSL1/ADSL2+ available nationwide.
Kellett says that, as well as cutting $30 from the cost of an entry-level Business ADSL2+ service to just $59, Internode has introduced its first 'truly unlimited quota business ADSL2+ plans', starting from $299, and including a $10 discount offered when the plans are bundled with a NodeLine business phone service.
'All Business ADSL plans running at 1.5 Mb/s or slower have been 'grandfathered', which means they are maintained for existing customers but are no longer offered for sale.
Internode business ADSL plans offer broadband services that are designed specifically to meet the needs of commercial and corporate organisations, with features including priority technical support, static IP addresses, optional subnets, download-only quotas and half-cent per megabyte excess charges, and a maximum excess charge of $299 per month across the range.'
According to Kellett 'the standout feature' of the business plan overhaul was providing larger data quotas for less money. 'Business ADSL plans haven't received as much attention in recent plan upgrades, so we decided it was time for an extreme makeover.
'Maximum price caps and unlimited plans are a couple of things we've planned to introduce for some time, so we've taken this opportunity to do just that. By boosting data quotas and offering a $10 bundling discount with a NodeLine Business phone service, we're making high speed business broadband more affordable for all Australian businesses.
