For the second time in as many days Internode has been ranked top in surveys designed to assess users' perceptions of ISPs.
The latest survey, by productreview.com.au gave Internode a rating of 4.68 out of 5, well ahead of number two ISP, Optus, with a ranking of 2.95.
The Product Review survey results follow those
released yesterday by Roy Morgan Research which gave Internode a ranking of 88.6 percent for customer satisfaction.
There were other consistencies between the two, but also some significant variations. Both rated Telstra poorly. Roy Morgan put it in eighth place at 66.6 percent and Product Review also rated Telstra eighth with a rating of 1.75 out of 5. Both had Dodo ranked even lower (62.2 percent and 1.47 out of 5).
However while Roy Morgan had iPrimus languishing at the bottom end, between Telstra and Dodo, with 66.3 percent, Product Review put Primus in fifth position at 2.37 out of 5. While Product Review put OptusNet at number two, Roy Morgan had OptusNet in sixth place with 76.7 percent.
Roy Morgan singled out iiNet and AAPT has having boosted their rankings significantly since its last survey in July 2009. "iiNet and AAPT showed improvement in their level of customer satisfaction, increasing by 7.3 percent and 8.8 percent points respectively.
Roy Morgan had AAPT in fifth place, Product Review had it in seventh place.
