QMastor opens first US office

IT Industry - Market

Australian-listed bulk materials software development company, QMastor, has opened its first office in the United States as it expands its global footprint to support and service key mining regions in North America.

QMastor managing director, Trent Bagnall, said the opening of a US office in Denver, Colorado, follows the company’s recent contract win to supply a comprehensive supply chain management system to metallurgical coal producer, Jim Walter Resources, based in Birmingham, Alabama.

According to Bagnall, “there are significant opportunities for QMastor systems in both Canada and the USA, and the establishment of a local office is an important step in our strategy to further enhance our presence in this region.

“The sales team has built a strong North American sales pipeline over the last 12 months and having a focused presence will help deliver results.”

Bagnall said that Phil Ciezak would manage QMastor’s North American operations. “Phil, in his role as business development and marketing manager for our Australian operations, helped grow the company for the past three years and contributed to QMastor reporting record year end revenue and earnings growth. I am confident Phil and his team will leverage this prior success in the lucrative North American market.”
