New player in IT recruitment business

IT Industry - Market

Listed Australian IT services provider, CSG (ASX:CSV), has entered the technology recruitment market with the launch of a new recruitment business, CSG People, offering contracting and permanent IT recruitment services for its own customers.

CSG managing director, Denis MacKenzie, says the company will specialise in recruiting high quality IT professionals for its customers across a variety of industries, initially in Melbourne, with plans to expand across Australia in the near future.

MacKenzie said a former general manager of a multinational recruitment business, Murray Withington, will manage the entry and growth of CSG People into the Melbourne market and later throughout Australia.

Withington said CSG People would focus on providing “quality IT professionals who are the right fit for our customers. To do this we will be concentrating on building long lasting relationships, rather than one-off sales.

“CSG People will perfectly complement CSG’s core offering, enabling it to further support its clients’ IT departments and I am confident that with this approach we will grow rapidly even in these trying economic times.”

“I am excited about growing CSG People and it being recognized as a leader in the provision of IT recruitment services not just in Melbourne but across Australia.”

According to Denis MacKenzie, CSG has enjoyed rapid growth despite the economic downturn, posting  "impressive yearly results including a 48% increase in revenue to $197.3 million and a 24% increase in net profit after tax to $22.3million.”
