ACS brings Tassie premier on board as patron

Premier Bartlett responded said he was honoured to be associated with the ACS, particularly at a time where “ICT has the potential to become Australia’s new economic engine room.”

According to Bartlett, the impact of the ICT sector on the economy and general well-being in the community has never been more profound, and, he added “the implementation of the NBN is the start of a new digital economy revolution.”

“I look forward to working with the ACS and ICT professionals in the State to maximise the opportunities that will arise from the NBN and to position Tasmania at the forefront of ICT innovation and development.”
