Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.
Telstra has appointed Nerida Caesar to be group managing director, Telstra Wholesale, filling the post held by Kate McKenzie who was earlier this month made GMD strategic marketing.
Caesar joined Telstra after a 20 year career with IBM during which she rose from being a sales rep for IBM Australia to become vice president of IBM Asia Pacific's Intel Server division. Since August 2007 she has been director, national sales in Telstra Enterprise and Government, responsible for managing relationships with Telstra’s 1500 enterprise and government customers nationally.
Telstra CEO, Sol Trujillo, said that her consistent top-level performance and her background overseeing large strategic customer relationships were perfect preparation for the Telstra Wholesale role.
Caesar said “Telstra Wholesale is one of the most exciting and issues-rich (she's spot on there!) parts of the company, and I am very excited to have the opportunity to lead the division at an important time in its history.” Caesar said.
