Alcatel-Lucent names new Australian distributor

Alcatel-Lucent has signed a master distributor agreement with Gateway Distribution & Services Pty Ltd to provide voice, data and converged solutions to more than 120 Alcatel-Lucent partners who focus on Australian small and medium businesses.

Gateway is a new company created from a network of specialised telephony and communication solution dealers. The agreement, the third of its kind in Australia for Alcatel-Lucent, provides Gateway with a complete s, according to Alcatel-Lucent.

The company claimed that Gateway Australia would "enable businesses in Australia to evolve to a Dynamic Enterprise framework where communications solutions strengthen relationships, simplify interaction, and improve performance."

Mac Lewis, channel director for Alcatel-Lucent Australia, explained the framework as being "where every business interaction can be turned into a opportunity by connecting network, people, process and knowledge."
