Once again, Apple has come out on top in a customer satisfaction survey, leaving other big brands in the dust. The same research company also has some interesting findings about consumer purchasing plans.
The February 2009 consumer PC purchasing survey by ChangeWave Research found that 81 percent of respondents that purchased a Mac during the previous 90 days said they were very satisfied.
The closest rival was Asus with 67 percent, followed by Acer (61 percent).
The rest of the pack were Sony (56 percent), Dell (55 percent), HP (52 percent), Toshiba (52 percent) and Lenovo (50 percent).
If you were a PC vendor, wouldn't you be concerned that barely half of your customers were very satisfied with their purchase?
Other recent customer satisfaction surveys reported by iTWire as giving Apple a high ranking include
VendorRate and
JD Power.
The ChangeWave surveys also look at actual and planned purchasing behaviour.
