WebSpy seals distribution deal with NZ's Soft Solutions

IT Industry - Market

WebSpy (ASX: WSY), a global vendor of internet monitoring, analysis and reporting software, has signed a distribution partnership with New Zealand-based IT distributor, Soft Solutions.

According to WebSpy's COO, Lagis Zavros, New Zealand boasts one of the world's highest ICT expenditures per capita and a rapidly expanding ICT sector, and it was imperative for WebSpy to work with an established local distributor with strong product knowledge “to successfully increase our current market share."

Zavaros said Soft Solutions distributed security and network management solutions and had an extensive reseller network across New Zealand and, according to the terms of the agreement, Soft Solutions would act as WebSpy's preferred New Zealand distributor for its range of Internet, email and network monitoring software.

"WebSpy's solutions provide a strategic fit with Soft Solutions' current product portfolio as well as complementing their existing vendors' blocking and filtering solutions.

Chris Fitzgerald, the managing director of Soft Solutions said "in cost-conscious times Internet bandwidth is a valuable resource and resellers will be able to demonstrate to their customers how an investment in this technology will offer immediate savings.”
