Scale-out NAS provider appoints storage veteran to manage strong Asia Pacific business growth

IT Industry - Market

Strong growth in the Asia Pacific region has prompted the Australian arm of Isilon Systems, a company supplying scale-out NAS-clustered storage systems for digital content and unstructured data, to beef up its team with the appointment of a Business Development Manager.

Michael Burnie, Isilon's vice president and general manager for Asia Pacific, said the appointment of Harry Christian to the business development position was in support of the company's “continuing strong growth in this market.”

Harry Christian was with NetApp for five years, most recently as channels manager, and previously in sales and technical support roles with the Worldcom and Global One.
