Microsoft has also released an update rollup for ActiveX killbots for Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Server 2003, and Server 2008.

Killbits prevent the activation of ActiveX controls with known security issues.

The latest rollup adds killbits for vulnerable versions of the Akamai Download Manager and the Research In Motion AxLoader.

Both killbits have been set at the request of the respective company.

The rollup also incorporates killbits relating to the Visual Basic issue that was the subject of a security bulletin in December 2008.

As usual, Microsoft has also released updated versions of the Malicious Software Removal Tool and the Windows Mail Junk E-mail Filter.

Also new this month are cumulative updates for MediaCenter TV Pack for Vista and Media Center for Vista.
