But medium-sized organisations are, well, stuck in the middle. In an attempt to keep the total cost of ownership low, they doggedly stick to a single platform such as Windows on Dell hardware.
Now, who comes at the bottom of the list?
Sprint Nextel took the wooden spoon on 52 points, with fellow telcos Qwest Communications and Comcast Business also making the bottom ten.
Other big names languishing at the bottom include SAP Large Enterprise, Computer Associates, EMC, Symantec Enterprise Storage/Backup, and Lenovo.
It appears to be a good job that small companies are relatively favourably disposed towards Microsoft operating systems, as they appeared on the bottom ten for medium and enterprise companies (both giving 61 points) but managed to stay out of the cellar overall.
The lowest scores of all went to SAP Large Enterprise (46 points from Enterprise companies and Sage Software (46 points from small companies).
The curious thing about the SAP numbers is that this means the operation is more highly rated by companies outside the target market than by the primary audience. That can't be a good sign.
