Open source virtualisation software vendor Open Kernel Labs (OK Labs) has appointed a new executive to oversee the company’s worldwide sales effort and what it says will be “an aggressive growth plan.

OK has appointed Karry Kleeman as Vice President of Worldwide Sales to execute its global sales strategy and to “help accelerate adoption within the mobile device market of embedded hypervisor, OKL4,” which the company says has already been deployed in 250 million devices.

Kleeman joins OK Labs from Mobius Management Systems, a public company acquired by ASG Software Solutions. Kleeman was with Mobius for 17 years.
Kleeman said that “the embedded virtualization market is poised for significant growth,” and that OK’s proven success with deploying solutions in the mobile device market was a “great formula for sales success.”
