TOKYO, May 7 (Reuters) - Japan's NTT DoCoMo Inc. (9437.T: Quote, Profile, Research said on Monday it had scrapped a plan to offer its wireless Internet technology to Hutchison Essar as Britain's Vodafone Group Plc (VOD.L: Quote, Profile, Research is set to buy a majority stake in the Indian mobile phone carrier.
