'We have been keen to add this capability for two years and therefore it is very pleasing to announce the acquisition of Bright Blue," said SMS CEO Tom Stianos.
"The capabilities that Bright Blue brings to SMS are well aligned with our existing Business and Technology Practices, further deepening the services we can extend to our clients nationally," he added.
Bright Blue will be integrated with SMS's operations over the next three months.
Lachlan Hanly, the managing director of Bright Blue, will lead SMS's CRM practice, with co-owners David Wong and Matthew Yoon taking management roles.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
