Objective wins major EDRMS deal with SA Govt

IT Industry - Listed Tech

Content management provider, Objective Corporation (ASX:OCL), has won a deal to provide an electronic document and records management solution (EDRMS) to The Department of Primary Industry and Resources South Australia (PIRSA).

PIRSA, a key economic development agency within the South Australian Government, will deploy the Objective EDRMS across ten business groups for a total of 1648 people.

The South Australian Government agency's core business functions include economic and industry development, natural resource management and policy advice and support. It supports industries with total revenue in excess of $7 billion, including an export component valued at over $3.6 billion.

PIRSA’s agencies support 58 corporate and regional offices throughout the state and a highly mobile workforce. The department
needed to provide its staff with access to a single point of reference to information, from any location.

PIRSA operates in a highly regulated environment, and as a result has a responsibility to create, capture, preserve and manage over 300 different types of operational documents and records. Objective will replace a number of systems in use across the agencies, providing a single, central repository and a single point of access to the information.

Tony Walls, CEO Asia Pacific, Objective Corporation said: “Objective is used in large-scale multi-agency solutions around the world. This experience was critical in PIRSA’s evaluation and subsequent selection of Objective.”
