Stratatel secures first UK sale

IT Industry - Listed Tech

Asset and expense management company Stratatel Limited (ASX:STE) has launched its MobileFleet product to the UK communications industry at a two day convergence summit and announced its first sale.

Stratatel Ltd managing director, Mike Fairclough commented, 'The response to MobileFleet from UK dealers and resellers had been overwhelming, with twenty organisations expressing strong interest in marketing the system to their clients.'

Stratatel is in early stage negotiations with a number of these organisations, according to the company. Fairclough said, 'It is clear from the feedback we received from industry players that our timing into this market could not be better. UK corporations and government organisations are looking to provide improved corporate governance and reduce the many risks associated with running large fleets of mobile phones and PDA's.'

Fairclough added that a small but important UK sale had been secured well ahead of the anticipated schedule and that sales opportunities for MobileFleet were rapidly emerging.
