Financial management software provider, Systems Union Group, has appointed Tony Farrell as chief executive officer for its operations in Australia. Farrell,based in Sydney, will manage the company's network of offices in Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne and its Australia-wide channel partner community. Farrell was the co-founder of Lasata Software, the business intelligence provider acquired by Systems Union in May 2004. Previously Mr Farrell was general manager technology for the Bond Corporation. He has also held senior roles with Perth Building Society (later Challenge Bank), BHP and WA Government.
