Infragistics has opened its new Asia Pacific regional headquarters in Melbourne.
The new office is headed by managing director Graham Dean, who previously managed Quest Software's multi-country sales division and relationship with Microsoft. Its focus will be on sales and support.
"APAC is a growing market with a robust developer community," said CEO Dean Guida. "Our investment in our APAC operations furthers our commitment to locally serve our APAC customers and capitalise on numerous opportunities already in the pipeline."
Infragistics distributor MicroWay welcomed the development. "MicroWay is very pleased to have Infragistics supporting us locally now, as we continue to help developers discover just how comprehensive and effective the NetAdvantage components are," said Chris Erickson, MicroWay's general manager. "We're excited about the extra level of local service this will allow MicroWay to provide for developers."
