ComOps (ASX:COM) has won a new contract with Pfizer Australia to supply its ComOps BI (Business Intelligence) software system with dashboards by early next year.
Pfizer Australia, a research-based health care company, has a large product portfolio and its sales activity is spread across a diverse range of accounts, revenue levels and territories.
Pfizer Australia needed a tool that could quickly compile and analyse internal sales data as well as market intelligence sourced externally, and then distribute key findings to relevant staff across the enterprise.
COM is installing its BI solution with a dashboard interface on a Microsoft BI platform. The system is designed to rapidly compile and analyse internal and external data from across the enterprise and then deliver a 360-degree view of the business in easy-to-interpret executive summaries. Updated daily, these summaries are presented in a view similar to that found on the dashboard of a motor vehicle.
The Pfizer Australia contract is one of several major business deals COM has won over the past few months, joining new projects for B&D, Toll Holdings, Simplot and Orica Consumer Products.
COM shares closed 3c higher on 20c, but trading was very light and low volume.
