eLearning software developer, HarvestRoad (ASX:HRD) has formed an alliance with learning solutions integrator, Impart Corporation Pty Limited to create a Queensland based eLearning technical centre of excellence.
HarvestRoad's federated digital repository system, HarvestRoad Hive stores and manages 'learning objects' and their metadata, assembles these into standards compliant packages, and delivers the content on demand to learning and course management systems. It is designed to establish a bridge between islands of content within and across multiple institutions or organisations, regardless of the type of content or purpose for its existence.
The new eLearning centre will be based in Brisbane and brings together Impart's expertise in learning strategy design, courseware development and learner management technologies with animation, games development, and multimedia skills. The alliance with HarvestRoad adds a world-class digital repository system to the mix.
