Nextgen Networks has posted on its web site a brochure detailing the products it offers to provide connectivity over the NBN.
Nextgen is offering three options.
- Virtual Connect "Provides RSPs with a white labelled, end to end product range delivered through the NBN to the customer premise. RSPs will manage the sales, commercial and level-1 customer service relationship. A service provider POP or physical network is not required." Nextgen says it is suitable for existing VISP customers, VISP providers, systems integrators, application service providers and new service providers.
- Access Connect "Provides connectivity from an RSP POP through the Nextgen and NBN networks to the end customer premise. For RSPs with a physical POP and network, this option supports continuance of the established business model utilising the NBN as a plug-in access network." Nextgen says it is suitable for RSPs currently serving their customers via established POP(s).
- POI Connect "Provides cost-effective, high quality transmission or MPLS based connectivity from RSP PoPs to the NBN PoIs. RSPs will have their own POP and a direct relationship with NBN for NNI and Access supply." This is suitable for customers who have or will complete the NBN on-boarding process and engage directly with NBN as an access provider.
Nextgen has given no pricing information. The brochure can be found here.
