Wireless broadband provider, Unwired Australia (ASX:UNW) today launched new features for its customers including web hosting for small businesses through Australian web hosting service provider WebCentral.
Unwired launched its service in Sydney in August 2004 and now sells wireless broadband through more than 100 retail outlets across Sydney, including Harvey Norman, Co-op Book Shops, Dick Smith and Tandy as well as through the Unwired website.
From today small businesses can host their websites and register domain names through Unwired. The web hosting service is powered by WebCentral. Under the agreement, Unwired will provide a suite of small business hosting packages to its customers with a range of consumer style hosting products planned for next year.
Monthly plans and prices for web hosting start at $39.95 per month for 100MB of disk space, 1000MB of data transfers and unlimited mailboxes, plus a $64 set-up fee.
Think again. Most businesses only have PART of a DR plan - and this spells business disaster in the event of an IT disaster.
