Victorian iAwards recognise local innovators

The winners of the Victorian iAwards were announced last night. They include some well-known organisations as well as others that don't get into the public eye very often.

Backed by the Australian Information Industry Association, the annual iAwards start with state and territory rounds, followed by the national awards which this year will be presented in Melbourne on August 5.

The Victorian winners of the 14 categories were as follows:

Communications: NEC Australia, for the MAC mobile access controller

eGovernment: PAN software, for the RiskWare enterprise risk intelligence software

eHealth: iCare Solutions, for the iCare Solutions aged care electronic health record

eLearning: SkillSoft, for its e-learning solutions

eLogistics and Supply Chain: Peerless Foods, for Peerless Foods ERP

Financial Industry Application: REMASYS, for EAGLE-i

ICT Exporter of the Year: Nintex, with its Nintex Workflow
