Perth based e-learning vendor HarvestRoad (ASX:HRD) has signed a software partnership deal with Linux vendor Red Hat. HarvestRoad develops solutions for the education, defence and enterprise marketson the Red Hat Enterprise Linux platform.
"HarvestRoad has shown substantial growth in the last few years, and has leveraged the ever increasing uptake of Linux in the US," said Grame Barty, CEO, HarvestRoad. "Linux is the world's fastest growing operating system; this is an added attraction for our clients, both current and potential. It made sense for us to partner with Red Hat in order to increase the value proposition that we can offer customers."
David Ramsay, director of channels and alliances ANZ, Red Hat, said, "We're excited to have HarvestRoad as an ISV for Red Hat. They have recognised the potential of Linux, seen the market momentum in the US, and have a strong team developing applications to run on Red Hat Enterprise Linux for their clients."
