Soundcard hardware vendor, Creative Labs, and Australian online media portal ninemsn have formed an alliance to offer 95c music downloads for customers who buy a Creative Digital Audio Player.
To receive the discount consumers need to purchase $50 worth of music credits from ninemsn. ninemsn will provide a $50 credit bonus giving the customer a total of $100 worth of download credits to spend in the ninemsn music store.
Nick Angelucci, marketing manager at Creative Labs Australia, said "Our offer with ninemsn comes hot on the heals of our recent Zen Portable Media Centre launch with Microsoft and further supports our position as a strong advocate of Microsoft Windows Media technology."
Nathan Dawes, Marketing Manager, ninemsn, said, "Legitimate digital music is really starting to take off in Australia because it offers a great way for people to create personal music collections that can be consumed on the go."
ninemsn's music download service allows people to browse, search and buy music and to transfer it to digital audio devices or store and play it on a computer or copy to CD, with more than 350,000 tracks, including the five major labels together with over 100 independents.
