iiNet Limited (ASX: IIN) will install three IronPort C-Series email security appliances at its operations in Australia and a further two appliances will be deployed at at its New Zealand subsidiary ihug.
IIN will use the IronPort email content scanning engine to deliver email anti-spam and anti-virus protection for its customer base of more than 400,000 in Australia and New Zealand. In addition, IIN will use IronPort's SenderBase reputation filter which allows ISPs to scan mail coming into their gateways in order to assess its legitimacy before forwarding it.
