Broadband provider, Datafast Telecommunications Ltd (ASX: DFT) has announced that it is on track to post a record operating EBITDA for the year with a surge in earnings for the June half.
EBITDA for the June half is expected to exceed $2 million.
CEO Simon Ehrenfeld said that the company had also eliminated nearly all of its long term debt during the half. 'Over the next financial year, our cash position will enable the company to continue with an accelerated merger and ac quisition strategy, pay healthy dividends, or undertake a combination of both,' he said. 'Our performance is underpinned by the ongoing realisation of synergies from past acquisitions and the continuing move of customers to our broadband network.'
