Mid-market business applications provider, Professional Advantage, has grown its Brisbane office by acquiring more than 20 SunSystems and Great Plains customers from Pacific Software for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition grows the one-year old Brisbane office's customer base to more than 50 customers. Pacific Software was looking for a buyer to take on its SunSystems and Great Plains customers as the owners decided to retire. Professional Advantage believes the deal is an opportunity to strengthen its foothold in Brisbane, as the company sees the Queensland market as one of its strategic growth areas.
UNiTAB has been one of the first customers to work with Professional Advantage since its move into Queensland. Professional Advantage is also involved in non commercial community projects such as the Cape York Partnerships project in Coen.
Professional Advantage employs about 200 people in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, as well as a US office in Fargo.
