The Australian-founded company that's now based in California got the contract after a 12 month evaluation of its website analytics software by the Treasury Department’s Federal Consulting Group.
Maxamine's software measures and reports on site quality, accessibility, privacy and compliance with policies. It will be used by Treasury, Health and Social Security, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the State Department, the Library of Congress and the Environmental Protection Agency.
"One thing stands out: the software has the ability to keep our website up-to-date and enhance its usability. It consistently checks for any discrepancies and makes us aware of inappropriate content, broken links, and other things before our users find them," said the EPA's Carlton Burns.
