Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.
Yankee Group and Beijing based telecoms market research firm, Analysys International have formed a partnership to jointly produce technology research that puts the Chinese market into an international context. (Analysys International has no connection with the UK-based global telecoms market research firm, Analysys.)
They say they will jointly "investigate and address the market dynamics of the largest telecom market in the world, which is made up of more than 449 million mobile users, 370 million fixed-phone users and 50 million broadband users."
The will jointly produce and cross-sell research reports, collaborate on consulting projects and host global industry events. The resulting research reports on the Chinese technology market will be co-authored and co-branded by both companies, the first of which will be on the WiMAX infrastructure market in China. They have also committed to co-hosting WiMAX World Asia in Beijing, China, which will take place at the Kerry Centre from April 18-20, 2007.
"This partnership enables Yankee Group to leverage its global brand to deliver Analysys International's research on the China technology, media and telecom markets to an international audience. Additionally, it creates a new distribution channel for Yankee Group research in China," Yankee Group said.
