There have been recent reports of how a Twitter scam has affected some well known UK politicians, issuing embarrassing Tweets from their personal accounts. The upgrade aims to improve and modernise the system’s accounting and reporting capabilities.
The upgraded system will also support international financial reporting standards and assist in any audit of the 5 million transactions undertaken each year.
The upgrade is expected to be completed over the next 12 to 18 months.
