Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.
Open Spatial Australia has won a deal to provide an Enterprise Spatial Data Management system for City West Water, one of Melbourne’s three metropolitan retail water businesses.
The Open Spatial solution for City West Water
will comprise a Spatial Data Capture and Spatial Data Management
business application.
Users throughout City West Water will have access to accurate maps
through a browser based solution that is the same for both office staff
and crews out in the field. The solution based on Internet and Web
Services technologies which will be totally integrated with the
organisation’s Field Operations Case Utility System (FOCUS from
ViryaNet).
The solution is based on Autodesk and Oracle Locator technologies to
deliver robust commercial grade business applications specific to the
Water and Wastewater businesses.

Enterprise Spatial Data Management is designed to improve data quality,
data accuracy, data integrity and remote data availability. This means
water utilities have better information with which to make their
business decisions.
