UXC Managing Director, Cris Nicolli said the acquisition of Tripoint represented a key strategic direction for the company and the investment was core to the strategy of increasing the company’s “leadership position in the Oracle and managed services market.”
He said the acquisition cemented Red Rock as the “leading local managed service provider covering the Oracle stack.”
According to Nicolli, Tripoint, as a leading provider of online managed services solutions for applications through to servers and storage, was predominately based around Oracle’s PeopleSoft Application stack, and had achieved “great success with blue chip organisations.”

The acquisition means that Red Rock will fold the Tripoint business into its existing Managed Services Practice, extending the capability to cover a greater breadth of Oracle Applications as well as increasing its depth in the middleware, databases and infrastructure managed services space.
Nicolli said the combined managed services team would be led by Gerry Williams, General Manager - Support & Managed Services.
Red Rock CEO, Jonathan Rubinsztein said the addition of Tripoint to the consultancy’s business propelled the company into the position of being Oracle’s largest locally based PeopleSoft partner across the Australia and New Zealand region.
“It also further strengthens our Managed Services practice that provides a full suite of fixed and flexible solutions for managing and hosting Oracle Applications, Middleware, Databases and Infrastructure.
“Culturally our businesses are strongly aligned with Tripoint’s principles of honesty, integrity, professionalism and agility, reflected in Red Rock’s own core values.”
