Melbourne IT and Crazy John’s strike strategic alliance

Domain registrar and hosting services provider Melbourne IT (ASX:MLB) has asigned a Managed Affiliate Agreement with Australian mobile phone retail chain Crazy John’s.

The agreement allows Crazy John’s, which has more than 100 stores around Australia, to refer its customers to a complete portfolio of Melbourne IT online solutions.

Theo Hnarakis, MD and CEO of Melbourne IT, said the agreement was an essential part of Melbourne IT’s business strategy of building alliances with market leaders who have strong business models and focused on delivering outstanding service to their customers.

“This agreement will allow our companies to influence, drive and capitalise on the convergence between the traditional Internet and the wireless Internet,” Mr Hnarakis said.

“Crazy John’s is Australia’s leading mobile phone retailer with tremendous market penetration and represents an exciting channel to market. Melbourne IT is delighted to have established an alliance with a company as successful and well respected as Crazy John’s.”

Melbourne IT will provide Crazy John’s customers with access to a wide range of services designed to help them grow their business, including domain name registration, business email, website hosting, website building services and search engine marketing.

Crazy John’s Managing Director, Brendan Fleiter, said: “Crazy John's can now satisfy an even wider range of customer needs thanks to our new partnership with Melbourne IT. The services provided will enhance the breadth of products delivered by our Business Solutions Division.
