Global automated IT systems management software vendor, Kaseya, has deployed its enterprise platform across 130 stores and the head office of online and 'bricks and mortar' sporting goods retailer, Rebel Sport, in Australia and New Zealand.
Rebel Sport's CIO, Brendan McHugh, said the decision to adopt the Kaseya solution came about after the company had been grappling with costly, complex, outdated and disparate software solutions for years.
'Purchasing the full suite of Kaseya technology was a smart and strategic choice for us, especially because we were facing limitations and set-backs due to a lack of software consolidation. Support staff members are now better placed to use their time to add value to the business by spending time on strategic, forward-thinking IT management because Kaseya automates the IT tasks for them.'
'Beyond addressing these issues, Kaseya's offering has helped our organisation become more proactive in responding to the changing demands of our business,' McHugh said. 'For example, more and more of our staff are asking to use their own devices at work. We're tackling this trend head-on by currently evaluating Kaseya's Mobile Device Management solution to address our burgeoning BYOD challenges.'
The Kaseya enterprise systems management platform allows Rebel Sport to deliver a full suite of IT management and support seamlessly across the entire organisation, giving administrators complete remote access into and control over thousands of desktops, servers and point of sale systems across the two countries from a single Web-based management console. Now, from a single solution, administrators will be able to conduct systems monitoring, patch management, service desk and remote control.
McHugh said that Kaseya devised a fully customised solution to consolidate several costly and complex legacy technologies that existed within Rebel Sport's IT infrastructure. The new solution delivers fully automated IT systems management across the enterprise to bring about improved efficiencies within the IT environment.
According to Kaseya Australia and New Zealand managing director, Dermot McCann, the Kaseya Enterprise Framework is 'gaining a strong following because, unlike other solutions in the market, it is able to provide the simplicity and level of customisation to suit our customers' stringent requirements. It is simple, smart and effective.'
