CSG wins ERP contract

Australian owned, listed ICT company, CSG has sealed a contract with global engineering and project management group, Ausenco, to implement an Oracle ERP platform to underpin the company's global expansion.
{lopadposition peter}CSG group general manager, Julie-Ann Kerin said the implementation had just commenced and the company was working collaboratively with Ausenco on the implementation, scheduled for completion in 2013. The ERP will be rolled out initially within Australia and then to Ausenco's operations in North and South America.

Kerin said the ERP solution will enable Ausenco to integrate all aspects of the company's business including financials, project management, asset management, maintenance, procurement, HR, payroll, reporting and analysis.

'Partnering with our customers to enable business transformation through technology is CSG's core business. We deliver industry based solutions and our IP around Oracle ERP implementations for the engineering & construction industry is among the best in the country,' Kerin said.

Ausenco CIO, Paul Young, said the organisation required a platform that would provide a solid foundation for global expansion and manage multiple legislative, corporate and compliance requirements.

'In addition to supporting Ausenco's global expansion and integration of complex operations, the solution will improve efficiency and consistency in decision making for the company. Critical business Information will be available to managers across the business lines with multiple entries of data to be replaced by a single streamlined source of information,' Young said
